Yeah! So a couple of years ago I had this idea, that I would like to teach a free class. The free class would be on storytelling, rather than on any specific craft. I wanted to provide a way to help people access the memories from their own pasts, AND perhaps spark conversations between friends and loved ones about their own stories. I developed a series (a HUGE series) of prompts, and the class became Stories in Hand.
After the class, I was inundated with requests and suggestions to turn the class prompts into a book that the students (who had printed and handmade the book in class) could purchase for gifts and for themselves.
Fast-forward another year, and I got hooked up with the amazing team at Northridge Publishing. After a few setbacks, and some pain and gnashing of teeth, and plenty of hard work, I am SO excited to make the official announcement:
Stories in Hand: the book is heading to print and will be available for the holidays! And just to whet that appetite, Amy from Northridge worked quickly to get me the cover to show in our booth (and here on the blog) this weekend!
So without further ado, I present the first official sneak peek of Stories in Hand!
I am SO excited to share this. So excited to begin a new web site for the book and OUR stories, which I’ll be sharing more about. But for now, spread the word, will ya? I can’t WAIT!!
