Oh my dears. I know that you are as anxious as I am to get this photo editing class out the door.

I had planned to launch it at about 9:00 p.m. tomorrow night (the 23rd), but I am still tying up a few loose ends - still getting some resources and bonus material together, and so I will not be launching tomorrow night. It has simply been a lot more time-consuming than I originally planned. I’m almost done, though, so I’m officially scheduling the release of this one for 9:00 p.m. Eastern on February 24. You can wait another day for photo editing goodness, right? :D

Okay, I was so impressed by your thoughtful responses to our three days of questions. I learned a lot (lots of us, for example, have switched to DSLRs, and few of us who posted print everything at home), and I hope you were able to think about your own photos a bit.

THANK YOU for participating.

I was planning to choose one winner from each day’s post.

Instead, I’m going to choose three. From each day. Because I love ya.

So, here goes, with the help of my trusty random number generator at, where I just learned that you can get your own random number generator WIDGET! If you’re just nerdy enough, that is. ;) I personally love it. The thought of random numbers right there at my fingertips anytime I want them! Gives me the chills. :)

Day 1:

Sharon M.

<link> This was taken in the summer of 1978. We had gone with another family to the Strand in Galveston, TX. It was rather warm, so we went

Michelle W.

This is one of my absolute favorites. My youngest two, their big blue eyes, just before Christmas.

One of my favorite pictures is of my son and daughter when they were 3 and 2 years old. We went to a park that had a fountain in the middle of a gazebo. With my son stepping on the ledge …

And from Day 2:

I wish I had a photo from the night I met my husband for the first time. That night changed the course of my life, although I didn’t know it at the time. We were in our early twenties and on …

I would love to capture the expression on my husband’s face when our kids were born. It is an incredable experience and on that is about impossible to capture because there seems to be a little bit more important subject (the …

I wish I had a photo shot of all of my grandparents the way I would shoot them today. Not the way that my mom did with all the clutter and distractions. I guess it would be with the four of …

Day 3

Prior to getting my DSLR in October, I printed pretty much every picture I took. I am now taking SO many photos that it’s probably more like 25% are actually getting printed (56 for January!) I have them printed through Shutterfly. …

I would say that probably 15% get printed. 25% of them get put on a blog or shared via shutterfly. I don’t have a printer at home because I don’t want the hassle, so I just upload to shutterfly and have …

Oh, my gosh! It seems like I haven’t printed a photo in over a year! Maybe just for a school project here and there. However, I do digitally scrap them (looking for a good print service for this) and share them …

Congratulations to ALL the winners, and thank you again for playing along!
