Hi.

Welcome to my blog! I write, and take photos, and use Photoshop every day. I love learning and surprises and my sweet family and being a transplanted southerner.

My Take on this week's PSF.

First off, let me say how surprised and happy I am that so many people got the BlackAdder reference from Thursday. A cunning plan that cannot fail. HA! I love you guys. And I DO have a cunning plan in the works. Just making some arrangements, planning out the interface, that kind of thing. It’ll be awesome. :)

Okay, I promised a layout with the PSF technique, so here it is:

For this hybrid layout, I converted these photos to black and white using yesterday’s PSF technique, then put them inside of frames from Rhonna’s Snap Shot Flourishes frames, and used papers from Jen Wilson’s ReJENerate Reaffirm (the yellow behind the dates and journaling) and Remember kits (the yellow behind the dates and journaling). I added on the “Adore” word art from Jen’s Rekindle kit, and then printed that entire arrangement on 8.5 x 11 matte photo paper.

For the paper part, I added some torn Chatterbox paper (the reverse sides are solid colors - and thank you Gabby for helping me overcome my fear of paper tearing…) and adhered the whole thing to the polkadots from BasicGrey blush. I love this line. I added a BasicGrey rub-on flourish below the title, and then typed the dates and journaling onto the yellow digital paper and printed them. I punched the dates and added them to Bazzill chipboard (I inked the chips and the journaling block with CatsEye chalk ink).

Sparkly letter and chip heart are from Lil’ Davis. Word stickers are from EK Success.

Have you got layouts to share with your b/w conversion? Link me up! :)

Happy Saturday!
