I have been getting a LOT of comments about broken images. This means you see little red X’s or nothing instead of images, AND that this has been happening for a long time.
I’m sorry. :(
After doing some tests, I have figured out that this probably happened when I went over my bandwith a couple months back (not a bad thing, I love it when people come visit! :D) and my images got shut off. I think this setting somehow got cached.
If you’re running Firefox, and the images on this blog are broken, you can fix it easily.
- Just go to Tools > Clear Private Data.
- Make sure that Cache and Cookies are both checked (the rest is optional).
- Click OK.
If you’re running Internet Explorer, and the images on this blog are broken, try this:
- Go to Tools > Internet Options.
- In the Temporary Files area, click the Delete Cookies button, and then the Delete Files button.
- Click OK.
It’s a good idea in general to clear your cache and cookies often, especially if you are online a lot. There is a surprising amount of information from online that your computer stores locally, and it’s nice (and more secure for you) to clean this off now and then.
Let me know if this fixes the issue for you, ok? It sounds from the comments that both IE and Firefox were affected by this. I think this should fix it, though.
